Body contouring

Though many methods of body contouring such as body wraps, creams, and massaging treatments have been promoted over the years, the only method known to be permanently effective is liposuction. This procedure involves suctioning out excess pockets of fat from various sites on the body, including the abdomen, thighs, hips, buttocks, knees, chin, neck, and upper arms. Results can be dramatic as resistant pockets of fat are reduced. Assuming that fat is responsible for unwanted bulk or curvature in an area, a plastic surgeon can virtually 're-sculpt' that part of the figure. However, you should realize that your shape is also dependent on underlying structures like bones, muscles, and connective tissue which liposuction can't change. The procedure shouldn't be used as a substitute for dieting and exercise. If you need to lose weight, most doctors recommend you do so before considering liposuction.
