Dr. Stewart hails from Hope, AR. Dr Stewart began his collegiate studies at Hendrix College in1988. Graduating with a B.S. in Biology in 1992, he went on to UAMS, receiving his medical degree in 1996. Dr. Stewart continued with his Transitional Fellowship, his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency and Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at UAMS. Dr. Stewart is currently serving on the Board of Managers at Arkansas Surgical Hospital and is a member of the board for the Pulaski County Medical Society. Dr. Stewart is also currently a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Mid America Orthopaedic Association. He has also been published several times in Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research. Dr. Stewart’s practice interests include Adult Reconstructive Surgery, Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine and Workers Compensation.
