Under general supervision, Forklift Operator Warehouse Worker will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to sit down and stand up forklifts, stand up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks and radio frequency equipment.

Essential Functions:

Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner

Move product to storage areas with proper equipment.

Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area

Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped

Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation

Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse

Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety

Participate in physical inventories, as needed

Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking

Operate equipment safely and efficiently (equipment to include, but not limited to stand up forklifts, stand up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks and radio frequency equipment)

Report all safety malfunctions on equipment

Comply with OSHA standards

Must be able to meet production standards

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment

Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time and ready to work assigned shift

Charge or change forklift battery, as needed

Perform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed

AutoZone’s Full-Time Auto Parts Delivery Driver performs work in the operation of a

vehicle to assure safe delivery of parts to and from commercial

customers. In addition, this AutoZoner will be required to perform

duties inside our stores, driving, and at our customers’ place of

business. Drivers are responsible for ensuring maximum productivity in a

safe environment, increasing commercial sales, and ensuring compliance

with company procedures in accordance to AutoZone’s expectations. The

incumbent will exceed customer’s expectations by delivering WOW!

Customer Service to all AZ Commercial accounts.


+ Provides WOW! Customer Service

+ Utilizes ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternatives

+ Adheres to AutoZone dress code

+ Ensures commercial products are delivered on time and in excellent condition

+ Maintains store appearance and merchandising standards as directed

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the secondary activities by performing machining, sub-assembly work, or finishing on die castings.

Perform timely quality checks, per our quality plans, recognize quality problems.

Stop machine and make recommendations to leadership to correct problems that could hinder a machine’s performance, reduce output, or affect quality or delivery.

Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Process.

Perform general housekeeping activities in order to maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Deliver metal parts or stock to designated work areas for machining.

Lift metal part or stock onto machine and secure it on machine table, in chuck, or holding fixture to assist in setting up machine.

Feed metal parts or stock into automatic metal working machines and remove machined part from machine after prescribed period of time or at end of machining cycle.

Load and unload materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, or conveyors.

Lift boxes of parts, remove parts from hoppers, and bend to adjust boxes.

Exposure to hot temperatures, liquid cutting fluids, and potential for injury to hands or arms.

Follow the requirements of the Quality Policy, ISO/TS system, and procedures.
