The CDC is urging us to get our flu shots.
Last year's flu season was one of the worst, sending more than 3,000 people to the hospital and killing 169 children.
Despite these numbers, the vaccine helped prevent millions of people from getting sick, but only 40% of people six months and older get the shot.
I'm told it's too soon to predict this season's outcome but you should get your shot while supplies are available.
In other health news, exercise may lower the risk for developing kidney stones.
Researchers at the University of Washington found those who exercised regularly were a 1/3 less likely to develop kidney stones.
Outside experts say it's possible women who exercise are healthier in general and that could be behind the decreased risk.
They also say more studies that include men are needed.
