POCAHONTAS, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas State Police say two people were killed and another injured in a single-vehicle crash in Randolph County.
Authorities say the crash happened around 10 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 67 near Pocahontas. State police say a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Anthony Nicholas of Hoxie ran off the highway and struck a tree.
Nicholas was injured and taken to The Med in Memphis, Tenn. Killed in the crash were 29-year-old Joshua Hall of Walnut Ridge and 22-year-old Kayla Stone of Kentland, Ind.
State police say no one was wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
