Since I am not a woman, I think the decision should be the woman's as to whether she wants to give birth or not and it should stay that way

lrdawg, can you provide any statistics to support the assumption that abortion reduces the crime rate as you have so implied? I don't think there is. As someone who has looked into adoption I found their is a high demand for those looking to adopt new born babies. So much so it has become a multi-million dollar business. My wife and I were unable to find a new born to adopt because we did not have the money to pay for the child's mother's medical bills, rent or living expenses while she was pregnant. There was plenty of affluent families who could spend $20,000-$100,000 for this. Also to assume that only those from crime-ridden backgrounds have abortions or to assume every child murdered during abortion would be a "crook/thug" seems like a far stretch. Empathy my friend goes a long way in today's society.

As a conservative, I support abortion and the death penalty. Time to weed out the stupid people and criminals. I don't want my tax dollars feeding other people kids and also crooks/thugs. Who gives a rat if a woman wants to get rid of her fetus? It doesn't make me sad or upset if they get an abortion.

WHEN DID THE CONSTITUTION SUPPORT ABORTION. Murder is illegal. life begins at conception. With right equipment the heart can be detected at 15 DAYS. How can anyone not accept that this is a human? A woman that would kill her baby....and a president that would kill his grandchildren so his girls wouldn't be punished for a MISTAKE are killers...MURDERERS.

I consider myself neither a Democrat nor a Republican; I am a moderate. However I never understood how someone could support abortion but oppose the death penalty. They both involve taking a life. Those that support abortion claim that abortion is part of a woman's civil rights . The same people oppose the death penalty on the same argument that the death penalty violates human and civil rights. I just never understood it. Perhaps someone who supports abortion and opposes the death penalty could explain their logic.

Beebe has made it publicly known that he would sign a bill abolishing the death penalty if one ever crossed his desk. He has now vetoed a bill that would not allow a 20 week "unborn child" to be killed. Way to go phuktard. Keep murderers, rapists, violent offenders and child molestors alive, but lets allow a woman to kill an unborn child. Beebe, you suck and Im counting the days until your sorry ass is gone. I hope you move out of Arkansas when you leave office.

What we really needed to do was to have late term abortions on liberals. They are destroying the greatest country on earth.

WOW, I’m never amazed how uninformed people are and how they don’t even read or understands what is in a bill. This would be a woman that is 5 months pregnant. This is a baby that is mostly developed (a preemie) if born. This bill would not be a contradiction of the law. He’s just a liberal who wants you to be able to KILL the baby any time you want. Spread your legs, get pregnant then kill the baby. Also this bill DOES NOT ban abortions. It just wants to stop any late term after 5 months. Is anyone thinking about that unborn child? I just think they need to teach liberals not to get pregnant and then we wouldn’t have any unwanted children born in Arkansas.
