Accident Sends Logs into Business

One man hurt after accident.
LITTLE ROCK, AR- One man is hurt after a log truck crashes into a business in Benton Saturday morning.

Emergency crews say customers were inside the Bicycle Doctor on South East Street, when a 18-wheeler failed to negotiate a sharp 90 degree curve.

Logs from the truck came off and went into the business and pinned a man down. He went to Saline County Memorial Hospital to be treated for a broken leg. The man's stepson suffered scrapes to his legs.

"I was here to get my bike fixed and we were in there and the next thing I heard was a loud boom," said stepson Daron Barnes.

No report on the condition of the driver of the truck.

The store's owner says he is grateful for his life.

"We were lucky to be alive," said owner Randall Green.
