LITTLE ROCK, AR – An Arkansas business man shot and killed one of his employees during an argument over sales performance, according to his arrest affidavit.
Christopher Reynolds, 34, has been charged with first degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault in the shooting death of Ernest Hoskins, Jr. Reynolds tells investigators that Hoskins was in his Ward home for a business meeting, and for part of that meeting he was pointing a loaded gun at Hoskins head.
We were bantering back and forth. I picked up a Desert Eagle .44 Magnum pistol from behind me. I pointed the pistol at Ernest’s heaing for approximately one minute. I pulled the trigger and the gun did not go off. I then pulled the slide back and a round went in the chamber. I tired to de-cock the hammer on the pistol by pulling the trigger and holding the hammer as it moved forward. Reynolds’ bond was set at $100,000 during a hearing Tuesday morning. He posted it and was released from jail around noon, according to the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office.
