LITTLE ROCK, AR – An Arkansas business man shot and killed one of his employees during an argument over sales performance, according to his arrest affidavit.

Christopher Reynolds, 34, has been charged with first degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault in the shooting death of Ernest Hoskins, Jr. Reynolds tells investigators that Hoskins was in his Ward home for a business meeting, and for part of that meeting he was pointing a loaded gun at Hoskins head.

We were bantering back and forth. I picked up a Desert Eagle .44 Magnum pistol from behind me. I pointed the pistol at Ernest’s heaing for approximately one minute. I pulled the trigger and the gun did not go off. I then pulled the slide back and a round went in the chamber. I tired to de-cock the hammer on the pistol by pulling the trigger and holding the hammer as it moved forward. The gun then went off and struck Ernest in the face.

You can read the full affidavit for warrant of arrest here.

Reynolds’ bond was set at $100,000 during a hearing Tuesday morning. He posted it and was released from jail around noon, according to the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office.

Oh but yet another idiot that should not have a gun. I tried to decock it. Okay idiot why, if it wasn't intentional, didn't you point the gun in a safe direction. Rule number one. Safety. Never point a gun at anyone or anything you do not plan on shooting. So is he open for business? Oh wait the question has been asked. WHAT BUSINESS. Probably PHARMACEUTICALS. HEAING? Not sure what that is either. Must have been the cwack pype tawken.

Odd, I have been in a lot of business meetings but they never involved guns. This is starting to get an odor to it

I pointed the pistol at Ernest’s heaing for approximately one minute. What is a heaing ? Nice proof reading.

And it took how long to arrest this guy, did anyone from the police station read the affidavit?. Who did he think he was to even bring a gun to a meeting, Why in the world would you pull a gun out on your employees for not getting enough sales, He shouldnt even be out on bail, Lock him up and throw away the key. What a waste of a young life,!

The only explanation you'll get from Ward PD and the Lonoke County SD is - "No comment". It appears the murderer has friends there, as well as in the DA's office, and a judge. It's simple gang; it took two weeks because his aforementioned buddies were trying to figure out how to cover up this mess, or make it appear justified. From what I've seen in the news, and heard on the streets; the county has a big problem with meth; perhaps some of these officials are making money on this as well; but don't get caught growing a couple of plants! It's not what you know, it's who you know! Glad the ASP took over.

Why was he not placed under arrest on the 9th when this happened, as opposed to weeks later after the family had to go to the media for help. Ward PD and Lonoke County SD owe the community an explanation.
