It wont be carried out. Arkansas has bowed down to the criminal world in regards to the executions.

Sad part this slime ball will sit on death row for 10 years on appeals. Court costs, food, housing, medical,tv,recreation.all on the tax payers dollar. And if memory serves me right, didn't Arkansas last year drop the death penalty? Just how will this be carried out?

i dont trust cops been treated like crap by too many of them and i still have bad feelings when it comes to cops. that being said no one deserves to die for doing their job. and this officer couldve been one of the good guys (which there are lots of) this guy deserves to fry. fact is he will outlive most people who are making comments about him. he gets free health care and 3 hots and a cot, wont ever be in a traffic accident or a house fire. his odds of living a long life have just gotten very good.

Great job justice system. We will have to elect the people with a full set to get the rest of the job done. As is plain to see we haven't elected the right ones yet. Ask the people in your area what the view is on the works of our justice system and the death penalty and how they propose to fix it.

First a quilty verdict; now the death penalty. Now all we need is a speedy appeals process; and as one person said, someone with some guts in state leadership to carry out the sentence. Kudos to the DA and the jury!
