Arrest made in Lonoke hit-and-run death

LITTLE ROCK, AR – A Carlisle man has been charged in connection to the August hit-and-run death of Kimberly Perkins.

Robert Lee Glover, Jr., 50, was charged on November 13th with failure to stop after accident with injury or death, according to the Arkansas State Police. Glover was arrested and released on bond.

Perkins, 39, was hit on Highway 70 near Cypress Creek Road in Lonoke County the night of August 24th. According to ASP, she was trying to get assistance from passing cars after the car she was riding in ran out of gas.
