A native Arkansan killed in Iraq is remembered through a memorial golf classic where the proceeds fund a scholarship in his name.
Little Rock, AR - A golf tournament for a memorial scholarship in the name of a fallen hero is coming up in the next few weeks..  The third annual Arthur "Bo" Felder golf classic will take place August 16th.

Event organizers Richard Moss and Cheryl Felder, bo's mom share their stories of Bo and his work with helping children in the Little Rock School District.

Felder made such a difference the Little Rock School District named The Felder Middle School Learning Academy in his honor.  He was also active at his church as the youth leader and worked with the Sigma Beta club (Sigma Beta Club is the youth auxiliary of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.).

Last year the event raised $5,000 and this year's goal is $10,000. The money goes to scholarships for graudating high school seniors.

Cheryl Felder says the tournament and scholarship is one way we are working to keep Bo's legacy alive.
