It is quite disappointing that we have Judges elected or appointed to sit on the bench who are willing to give a "get out of jail free" to a man who killed an innocent young man. May God have mercy on him.

Let's wait and see after Benton PD wraps up it's investigation and reconstruction. The kid could have ran out in front of him. Don't be so quick to judge! No he shouldn't have been driving drunk and killed a kid but let's wait and see what BPD says. My prayers are with Kirk and Christopher's family!

This is very tragic indeed, i just hope the courts make the right decision and make sure the driver doesn't see the light of day for at least the next 10 years or longer, there's no excuse for murdering someone by getting drunk and operating a vehicle.

Isn't this the SECOND person struck and killed within the past week outside that Jr High school? I could swear I saw another photo of a white pickup with grill damage that killed a pedestrian there last week. This 19-yr-old's birthday was TODAY. His uncle pastors a church near Jessieville AR. Pray for his family at this especially difficult time. -Karla

My prayers go out to each and every family involved in this horrible and tragic accident. Especially to the young man's family whose life ended way too young. Rhonda
