Body Found in Trunk in Baxter County After 911 Call, Woman in Custody

25-year-old Christina Maria Scroggin is facing a murder charge in the case.
MOUNTAIN HOME, AR -- Investigators are trying to figure out what happened to a man found dead in the trunk of a car in Baxter County.
A woman is in custody charged with first degree murder in the case.
According to the Baxter County Sheriff's Department, 25-year-old Christina Maria Scroggin of rural Mountain Home drove the vehicle with the body in the trunk to a residence on County Road 343 just before 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Deputies received an emergency call from the home.
Upon arrival, deputies found the body of 24-year-old Raul Segura Turrieta.
Turrieta's body has been brought to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's Office in Little Rock for autopsy.
Scroggin is being held on a one million dollar bond.
She is set for a court appearance Thursday.
