Burglaries on the Rise in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Homes, businesses, and auto thefts are on the rise in Little Rock, and police say they need your help to stop them from increasing.

On Monday, twenty-one people reported break-ins.

The thefts are happening all over the city.

FOX16 News met up with Benjamin Coleman, who said he had to stay home Tuesday to replace a door thieves kicked in at his southwest Little Rock home.

Police said they can't be everywhere at the same time.  That's they call on those stay-at-home neighbors to look around their communities and pay attention to things that may look a bit weird.

If you have any information on burglaries, give police a call.

"We've heard about the nosey neighbor but sometimes they can be beneficial in alerting police to some suspicious activity," Sgt. Cassandra Davis said.
