LITTLE ROCK, AR – Charges have been dropped in the case of a man who claimed to have been assaulted by a police officer after resisting arrest last October.

Wednesday morning a judge ruled to drop disorderly conduct, trespassing and resisting arrest charges against Chris Erwin after amateur video last October captured him being punched in the face by Little Rock Police Lieutenant David Hudson outside Ferneau restaurant.

According to police, Erwin refused to leave a party.

Drunk patron vs Bouncer. I side with the bouncer (off duty cop). I've never had a problem at this establishment with the officer working the door.
