Club Fire Now Out In North Little Rock

Blaze broke out around 10:30 at 3805 MacArthur Drive.
North Little Rock Battalion Chief RD Robinson tells FOX16 News that the fire at The Nest this morning appears to be electrical in nature. The fire started in the ceiling.

The owner was on scene and says he plans to rebuild the club. Robinson says the building was 40 to 50 percent damaged by the fire.

No one was hurt because no one was in the building at the time of the fire.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Fire crews extinguished a blaze this morning that left heavy damage to a North Little Rock club.

Crews were called to 3805 MacArthur Drive around 10:30 after reports that "The Nest" was on fire.

The crews found smoke showing and started fighting the fire. It took about 30 minutes to put the fire out.

No one was inside the club at the time of the fire.

The club had reopened about a year ago.

The is no known cause of the fire at this time or an estimate of damage.
