LITTLE ROCK, AR – A local DJ says he plans to seek treatment after he was found in the attic of his Cabot home Friday after authorities spent hours searching for him.

Monday afternoon, a statement from Willard Moran, better known as “DC McGehee” was posted on the Facebook page of Alice 107.7.

"To my family, my friends and fans of Alice 107.7. After the events of last Friday, I have decided to seek treatment for certain personal and medical issues that I have been dealing with for some time. While I regret being away from the show during this time, I look forward to getting back to work in the near future. I appreciate your support during this difficult time. Much Love, DC"

A missing persons report was filed when Moran failed to show up for work on Friday. Deputies with the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Department and troopers from the Arkansas State Police spent most of the day searching for him.

Moran was found later that night in his attic.

It's ok DC, get your business back in order. It's not like other people have found themselves in similar situations or worse! You happen to be a public figure so EVERYBODY knows your business! That's the only difference. Get back on track so you can get back on the morning radio and we can all go back to normal!

Ol Guzzler's dog collar theory is coming to reality, first the drugs and booze, then the boys get the dog collar out, nope - can't let anyone find them so head to the attic?????? ha ha. Glad he found treatment, just hope he does not end up like Tommy Smith and get to write an atlas on them.

Doesn't explain much. It all sounds like someone was after him and he knew it.

Or alcohol? Another channel reported tonight that he was in a safe room in the house.
