Doctor Trent Pierce, the man critically injured in a bomb blast on Wednesday underwent more surgery Friday afternoon.

This time to repair a broken leg and wrist, and receive skin grafts. Right now he still can't speak but a family friend says doctor pierce tilts his head and responds to a few questions.

Federal investigators are interviewing possible witnesses and examining evidence, but they still don't know who left the bomb in Pierce's driveway.

ATF special agent Austin Banks says they've hit a dead end. But West Memphis Police Chief Robert Paudert disagrees. “We are no where near a dead end we've just got so much information we have to work through nothing has surfaced yet but that doesn't mean we are at a dead end,” he said.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen someone near Pierce's home between 7pm Tuesday night and 8am Wednesday morning to call the ATF hotline at 888-ATF bomb.
