Weekend Rain Chances

An approaching disturbance brings showers and a few storms for the Holiday Weekend
An approaching upper air disturbance is bringing in higher rain chances as we head into Labor Day weekend. Mostly cloudy with a few showers around Saturday morning, with greater rain coverage and some isolated thunder during the afternoon. Strong storms are not expected, but some locally heavy downpours are possible. A few scattered showers and isolated thunder are likely into Sunday, but coverage will be less. High pressure begins building back by Labor Day with hotter temperatures and lower rain chances. Cloud cover will keep highs generally in the 80s over the weekend, but highs will reach the 90s by Labor Day and into next week.
