A traffic accident in Little Rock has taken a man's life.

According to Little Rock Police, an elderly male in a northbound brown 1984 Toyota Corolla was trying to turn left from Alexander onto Stagecoach when he was hit by a Ford Explorer traveling south on Alexander.

Police say there are no charges at this time for 64-year-old Donna Mathis, who was driving the Explorer.

The name of the man killed in this accident will not be released until his next of kin has been notified.

Perhaps there's another road named Alexander. It says accident happened in Little Rock, investigated by the Little Rock Police, so the Alexander Road menttioned in this story, must not be the one at the Saline County, Pulaski County line. Story is somewhat confusing though.

The Explorer would have to be driving south on Stagecoach (not Alexander as stated) for this story to make any sense. My heart goes out to the man's family.

Something does not make sense here. Alexander road ends at Stagecoach, so how cold this poor man have been "hit by a Ford Explorer traveling south on Alexander."

My prayers go out to the family of the man killed. People please slow down when driving. People killed in auto accidents everyday.
