LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Entergy Arkansas says thousands of its customers are without electricity because of Isaac.
The utility initially reported more than 16,000 customers without power early Friday, but crews have been working to restore electricity to homes and businesses throughout the day.
The remnants of Hurricane Isaac dumped more rain across parts of south-central Arkansas Friday, though the bulk of the rain tapered off as the storm headed into Missouri.
Entergy - which serves customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas - says Isaac has been the utility's fourth-largest storm in terms of power outages.
