Fire destroys AR Electric Coop offices

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Fire destroyed Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. offices just after 11am, Saturday. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

Firefighters say the blaze had a good head start on them before they even arrived on the scene. The warehouse is located at 1 Cooperative Lane in Little Rock, just off Scott Hamilton.

The scene was too hot for investigators to immediately enter the building after firefighters extinguished the flames. There are no reports of any injuries.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cost of the damage but say the structure and its contents are a total loss.
