On Friday, March 13 Forrest City police responded to a shooting at the 1300 block of North Rosser Street in Forrest City at 3:30 in the afternoon. It happened near the Forrest City Civic Center parking lot.
When officers arrived, the found a man laying in the street with gun shots wounds to his body. He was identified as 27-year-old Eugene Edwards Jr. of Forrest City. He was transported to the Forrest City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police are looking for Jeremy Buchanan, 18, in connection to this murder. He is wanted on a charge of capital murder, possession of firearms by certain persons and probation violation.
