Grammy Award Winning R&B Musician Performs In Little Rock

Hundreds of people attend a concert in downtown Little Rock.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- People enjoyed some great music at the Riverfest Amphitheater tonight.

The National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice hosted the popular downtown event.

This concert kicks off five days of training for members including things like workshops and a youth summit.

But tonight, everyone's focused on the musicians, including a Grammy winning R&B artist.

Marcus Getter, who attended the concert, said, "I'm really here for Doug E. Fresh. I like Anthony Hamilton and I don't know too much about The Whispers. Usually these types of events there's no violence and it's real relaxed."

This is the second time, in three years, the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice hosted it's yearly conference in Little Rock.
