Heavy Rain, Damaging Winds in Wednesday's Forecast

Storm system moves into the state late Tuesday night.
Storms are back in the Arkansas forecast.

A cold front pushes into the state late Tuesday night.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Little Rock says by Wednesday afternoon and into the evening hours, a line of thunderstorms is expected to bring hravy rain and damaging winds.

Rainfall is expected in the one to three inches range, with possibly higher amounts in the southeastern part of the state.

The NWS urges Arkansans to closely monitor local forecasts on Tuesday and Wednesday.

If severe weather develops from this system as expected, the Arkansas Storm Team will be launched to keep you and your family safe.
