Hotel Offers Pink Suite Honoring Employee's Battle With Cancer

Crowne Plaza hotel in Little Rock will give proceeds from a pink hotel room to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The 2013 Race for the Cure is in the books but a local hotel is still encouraging people to support the fight against breast cancer by going to sleep in the Pink Suite.

The Crowne Plaza hotel offers guests a chance to stay in the pink suite through the end of October. From the curtains to the coffee maker, the room is decked out in pink and ribbons.

This year they're honoring LaTonya Eackles one of their employees fighting breast cancer.

Sales employee Kandi Baker says "We walked in the Race for the Cure, as many as we could, and we were team Tonya. We try and support her any way we could and bring awareness."

The hotel is giving half of the proceeds from the room to Susan G. Komen in Eackles' name.
