The National Hurricane Center downgraded hurricane Isaac to a tropical storm with 70 MPH as of 2 PM Wednesday. Isaac struck the Louisiana Coast early this morning as a category 1 hurricane with 80 MPH. Isaac will continue to weaken today as it moves slowly toward the Northwest over Southern Louisiana.
