Jacksonville: Man Killed after Jumping from Overpass onto Freeway

Monday morning incident happened at the James Street overpass.

I feel for this persons family. I think my heart breaks more though for the motorist(s) that hit him though. The man CHOSE to jump. The motorist was merely driving. Personally - I would be extremely traumatized if I hit someone whether they wanted me to or not. I would be riddled with 'What if's'; Then tore up about their family. Bottom line - cowards way out that will not be met with rewards.

sad story and sad people to disrespect the dead. this news site is crap just like the morons who find it amusing to post disrespectful stuff on here about death and say all kind of stuff about the family of suspects instead of just addressing the suspect or the crime. the mediator is a pitiful person to allow the stuff he/she allows. very sad this man killed himself. better reporting and news on other sites, this one is bottom of the barrel. this is my first time on this garbage site in months. mostly racist and pedophiles post on this forum.

You guys are jerks, I am going to start viewing THVs new sight, they clearly have much more compassionate veiwers commenting on the story. Its called empathey people. Just who exactly is being selfish here? Just who is really on drugs here? and how can you use this as an opportunity to take a shot at Obama? I dont know what more sad, the man jumping or the heartless reactions.
