Jonesboro Woman Dies When Car Hits Parked Semi

A Jonesboro woman has died after the car she was driving hit a parked tractor-trailer rig.

It happened Tuesday afternoon just before 2:30 on Highway 49, south of Goobertown in Craighead County.

Stephanie M. Hall, 26, was behind the wheel of a 2002 Oldsmobile that left the road and hit the semi parked on the shoulder, according to the Arkansas State Police accident report. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident report notes that Hall was not wearing a seat belt.
