I dont see a problem with the school going at all. I think it would be a honor to be asked to perform at this event. $100,000 for a group of kids to get to experience this is rather cheap based on the point of what they get to experience. I say congrats to them.

Nativeson...you're the pathetic one here. These kids didn't ask, they were invited. They are kids mind you and have worked hard to achieve this compliment. I would say its an honor to be apart of history. Besides that, these high school kids are still in school and trying to be the best they can. Can't say that for all the drop outs in this country and you want to punish these kids for staying in school and working hard. Hell these kids are asking for donations...not robbing or stealing from others. You need to take your negative ass and cry your BS somewhere else. 100K does seem about right considering 90 students, staff, room and board, food etc. Way to go Central....!!!!! Very proud of you and i will be glad to contribute what I can.

I am glad for the kids but that is as far as I go on this. I wouldn't wizz in Obama's ear if his brain was on fire.

I gotta go with me501 on this one. Glad to see an AR school going to DC; even though I voted against him. We should all be proud that AR will be represented at the inauguration.

Go preach that to one of 1000s of other school who have attended past inaugurations. These kids should be able to go and perform with out having so many negative vibes coming from their own state. You have no idea how much communtiy service this kids put in.They are not responsible for hungry families in anywhere.Like I said go Central!!

Let me see! $100K to attend and march in a parade. Am I the only one who sees the sad testimony to the American value system this represents? This has to be one of the all-time acts of selfishness I have witnessed in my 55 plus years on this planet! With all the families in Arkansas who are struggling financially with the cost of living from month to month, medical needs without insurance (because they can't afford it), children going hungry and being cold because parents can't afford propane to heat their homes and gasoline to power their cars at the same time, and many other areas of need in our communities, these kids want to waste $100K on a parade! The senselessness and utter stupidity makes me want to scream! If these kids want to do something which will improve the quality of life in the world around them, let them use the money to help others, of all skin colors, instead of throwing it away on a stupid parade! The problem with kids today is not their inability to be productive, the problem is the people entrusted with teaching them productive priorities are themselves retarded! You can't expect extraordinary youth when they are being taught by pathetic, self absorbed, adults!

It do seem like alot but im thinking that's the cost to get them and the equipment there.Room and board they have to eat also. There's probally so much more that I dont know of in the cost. Im just so proud that they have the priviledge to be apart of history. Go Central!!
