Man Accused of Stealing Bed, Furnishings from Home

Investigation turned up evidence leading to suspect's arrest.
BENTON, AR -- A man is behind bars after police say he stole a bed and home furnishings from a residence in Benton.

According to the Benton Police Department (BPD), 44-year-old Joey Plummer was arrested Thursday for a burglary at a home on Springhill Road that occurred Aug. 30.

BPD says evidence discovered during the investigation led to Plummer's arrest, and while taking him into custody, they found drug paraphernalia and what they suspect to be meth.

Plummer was taken to the Saline County Detention Facility, where he was charged with residential burglary, theft of property, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
