The current law states that if the lethal injection process is ever found to be unconstitutional, the electric chair will be used. Whats the old up? 39 people and counting need to take a seat on it.

I'm with you wp; break his legs, take him to Deadwood, and throw him in the laundry man's pig pen! Let them have at him while he's still alive!

why are they protecting that POS with a bullet proof vest...I think they should let the public have at him in the court house square...Rip him apart and then feed him to the pigs...That's how "justice" should be served.

Butch That was only the chemicals that were being used for lethal injection... Not the chair. I think if they got a date set than it should be kept. If they don't want the needle than give em the chair.... By all means they shouldn't have to feel the pain of the chemicals running through they're body. Give them they're way on that one. But on the other hand... There is a line backed up already on the list of the one's that are suppose to be out of my check book. So Court's and prisons... Stop trying to get taxes raised. If you need more money, beds, space, guards and/or a rais... Get rid of some of the DEAD weight!!! We don't need more space for prisoners. We need to do something with the ones we got.

What can I say. Some one really is so far behind they blame BB for throwing out the death penalty. Our death sentence was found against the constitution by the court. BB didn't have a thing to do with it. The legislators need to fix it along with the attorney general. I guess the best answer would be because it's already been decided on and the people responsible for fixing it need to get to work on it.

Instead of Beebe proclaiming his 'executive' power and doing away with the death penalty in AR, why don't they put it on the ballot and let the people of Arkansas decide?

I actually think that when evil, cowardly scumbags comitt such horrific crimes like this that they should be tortured and live miserable the rest of their life. The death penalty would be too good for them.

We've got a generation of people (use that term loosely) who have no remorse, no feeling. And they know that our state will never have the courage to implement the death penalty ever again. Think he's afraid of Cummins. He's looking forward to it. Doesn't care. Best thing we can do is deprive society of his existence. But Beebe wants to do away with it.

I consider myself a christian and some people will disagree with me on this subject but,i believe in the death penalty. My Bible speaks clearly of it and if it is applied more there would be less of this kind of nonsense. My sisters family was a victim of a double murder and i could see the pain they endured. These people who oppose the death penalty better hope it never strikes home.
