LITTLE ROCK, AR – A 49-year-old man is in jail on $9 million bail after Pulaski County investigators say they found more than 6,000 images and videos of child pornography on his laptop.

Norman Jewett was arrested at his home in Little Rock on February 3rd at noon. In the arrest report, Jewett admitted to downloading the content to his computer.

The sheriff’s office is aware that Jewett was a bus driver for the Pulaski County Special School District several years ago. However, investigators believe that all of the images and videos found on Jewett’s computer were downloaded from the internet. At this point, they have no reason to believe local students were involved.

The arrest report says investigators in the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force were able to download child pornography from a publically available list of files Jewett was sharing.

Sparrowhawk, what are you babbling about? It isnt about race on this topic, so whats your deal now? You want to say there are more blacks in prison due to their lack of money is stupid. The number of blacks vs. whites in prison is so small, you'd be surprised. But, there are more black murderers than white, more black rapists than white, more black violent offenders than white, more black thieves than white just to name a few. Thats the difference. It has nothing to do about one races money. Are you saying the white race is financially more secure than the black race? If so, then you are a complete moron.

There's no place to joke or wisecrack about this horrific stuff. Still wonder about the teacher. There are more black in prison because the usually dont have $ or know the right people. Proven FACT. Who is dumb here? This is still the south and rife with KKK wannnabe's. No I'm not black.

Wonder how many counts of child porn did that teacher have on his computer? Hope they all get the same treatment. Life with NO possibility of parole. Add to that peeing through a straw the rest of their lives. Then add them to general population. Where are the "good" teacher defender's for him? Pictures or words make NO difference. Innocent until proven guilty like for the teacher????

What do race has to do with it ? A crime is a crime , there is human waste in every race ! Stop pointing fingers, when you point YOUR finger at someone else you have three of YOUR fingers pointing back at YOU no race is exempt from UNGODLY behavior, instead of being part of the problem be part of the solution !

Kinda odd, blacks get so furius if somebody makes a racial slur directed at their race, yet blacks do it towards whites all the time and expect us to ignore it! well, I'm tired of ignoring it! BLACKS ARE THE MOST RACIST OF ALL HUMAND KIND ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH! There, I said it and now I feel better! Wish EVERYBODY could and would drop the he's black and he's white crap!

proud2bme: This is a sick thing these people do, it is not only white, its black and all races, men and women. I do not protect this kind of scum and I do not follow your reasoning with trying to throw a race card out on the table with it. And to be honest about your thoughts, MLK was arrested for child molestation, and with the NAACP and all his other lawyers and the girls family being paid to keep quiet about it, the case was dropped. Check in to it buddy, thats ya'lls hero. And the prison systems are full of black child molesters.
