Man robbed at gunpoint at Bryant Target

BRYANT, AR – Bryant Police have arrested a man and a woman in connection to the armed robbery of an individual that happened on Monday.

Police say the victim was walking in the parking lot of the Target at 7349 Alcoa Road on December 10th. Police say a woman known to the victim, Sara Seawright, offered the victim a ride.

Once inside, the car drove around to the back of the Target. A man in the car, identified by police as LeDarius Laron Scales, robbed the victim at gunpoint then struck him in the head with the gun.

Scales and Seawright were arrested on December 13th. Scales is charged with aggravated robbery, 1st degree battery, tampering with evidence, and theft of property. Seawright was charged with aggravated robbery, 1st degree battery, kidnapping, hindering apprehension, and tampering with evidence.
