LITTLE ROCK, AR - Prosecutors have filed a manslaughter charge against against a Ward businessman who is accused of shooting and killing an employee in his home.

Christopher Reynolds was conducting a meeting at his home last November when Ernest Hoskins, Jr. was shot and killed. Two weeks later, Reynolds was arrested and charged with first degree murder.

According to the arrest affidavit, Reynolds told investigators that for part of the meeting he held a gun pointed at Hoskins’ head.

We were bantering back and forth. I picked up a Desert Eagle .44 Magnum pistol from behind me. I pointed the pistol at Ernest’s heaing for approximately one minute. I pulled the trigger and the gun did not go off. I then pulled the slide back and a round went in the chamber. I tired to de-cock the hammer on the pistol by pulling the trigger and holding the hammer as it moved forward. The gun then went off and struck Ernest in the face.

Friday, a special prosecutor charged Reynolds with the lesser charge of manslaughter.

Reynolds is due back in court on Monday.

What a line of shat. "I had the gun pointed at his head, pulled the trigger and it didnt fire. I kept it pointed at his head and cocked the chamber and pulled the trigger again and "BOOM!!!!!!. But I was just messing around Mr. Prosecutor, I wasnt being serious." LMFAO. What a crock.

The statement that was reported here implies "I intentionally tried to shoot him in the head and failed. I was then so clueless that I insured a round was placed in the chamber, kept it pointed at his head, and tried to uncock then gun so it wouldn't fire. But due this oopsie, he is now dead." This is your story? This is the story that you gave police, but the DA couldn't see anything wrong with? Sounds like a change of venue is in order so maybe a jurisdiction with a clue can find the truth.

What business were these two men involved in? Are they contractors or what?

Pointing a gun at someone's head and pulling the trigger; sounds like murder to me! He must have "connections". Only: I can't recall ever agreeing with you; but you're right on this one - it does indeed stink! Another cover up by the "authorities".
