Mom in Stable Condition Day after Baby Daughter Killed in Shooting

NEWPORT, AR - There's improvement to report in the condition of a Newport mom injured in a shooting that killed her one-year-old daughter.

It happened around 2:30 Wednesday morning on Daughtery Street.

KAIT-TV in Jonesboro reports that Delana Aguerre Roddy, 21, is now in stable condition, according to family and friends.

Roddy was shot three to four times in the torso as she laid in bed with her baby daughter, Tacari Danielle Briggs.

I doubt she much cares about what condition she's in after losing her baby like that. Whoever did this should pray the cops actually catch them.
