Some of us have real medical conditions that require the painkillers. It is up to each individual to decide how they want to use the medicenes. Most of us live with pain constantly and use just enough of the stuff to be able to tolerate living. If you use it to get out of pain completely then you have a problem and need to get help for it. The same dr. will help you with that problem too. Personally I live at a level six ALL the time. You can do that if you want to control the meds and NOT the meds controlling you. If you know someone who has that problem help them get help.

Billy joe bob is just one of those UNDER EDUCATED (hence to be politicaly correct special) people. Walk a mile in another mans shoes before you spew non-sense.And your right yankee theres a green plant that many are turning too AND IT WORKS. I lived in Humboult co. Cal. for 9 years (to this day i kick myself in the butt for leaving)People can laugh and joke all they want but the hippies of the 60s are the true American visionarys. Read Steve Jobbs biography. I'm guessing by your comment that you have no problem with your children receiving drugs that are addictive from the medical industry. Do the research, it's not that hard. Check the web for the ingredients of Adderall. And I've seen too many people addicted to pain killers; had a manager on my last job that's been addicted to them since playing high school football. And he like his booze with them also. And then there is the testimony of those like Butch; he doesn't strike me as a BS'er. How many trips do you make to the liqour store every week? And if you be Christian, read Genesis 1:11,12. Good night joe bub.

That is the way I got there jodashe. In the care of some of the best doctors this state had to offer. People seem to worry about the simple stuff when here lies the biggest problem. You don't see any of those closet junkies on here commenting do you. Well be besides billy joe bob.

Amen jodashe! There was a story on TV recently about Adderall being addictive. I checked it out on the 'net, and sure enough, amphetamine is in it. So the Feds and the medical industry are the real "pushers" while the holier than thou groups are worried about a plant God Himself put here. Sad. You are so right about these legal drugs being the real gateway to addiction.

Theres your real gateway drugs.The only thing missing is a bottle of booze. I went to the dentist about 3 months ago to have a tooth pulled and he could not believe I didnt want a sript for 20 hydrocdones. My next door neighbors 15 year old kid has been strung out on adderol (legal meth)since he was 9. I know COUNTLESS good people who never did any drugs strung out on opiates (hydro,morphine,percecets ETC)they think because the dr gave it to them its ok when i tell hem they are heroin addicts they blow me off and tell me im lying to them.. Legal drugs are the worse
