Pedestrian killed on icy road

BALD KNOB, AR -State police say a man was struck and killed by a vehicle that lost control on an icy road in Bald Knob.

According to the accident report, 37-year-old Delbert Brooks was standing outside his vehicle on the southbound shoulder of US 67 about 5:30pm Tuesday when a northbound Ford Explorer crossed the median and hit him.

The report states that the road conditions were slick and icy at the time.

When will people realize they can't drive like they are on the Utah salt flats with ice on the road.I drove 5 miles down a mountain rd this morning with ice packed roads at 20 miles per hr.I made it there and back by using caution.
