Police Arrest Man for Selling Meth While Out on Bond

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR -- A man is back behind bars as police say he was selling meth after bonding out of jail on previous drug charges.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) says 20-year-old Carson Gates, who recently bonded out of jail for previous drug charges, was arrested Wednesday for delivery of a controlled substance (meth).

Deputies received information that Gates was selling meth after bonding out of jail, and after investigation, were able to perform a controlled buy from him, according to LCSO.

An arrest warrant was issued, and Gates was taken to the Lawrence County Jail without incident.
