Police: Burglar caught inside Benton home

BENTON, AR – A man was caught burglarizing a home while the homeowner was still inside, according to the Benton Police.

Police say the crime occurred Wednesday around 8:47am at 4411 Donna Drive. Police say the woman heard someone breaking into her house and called police.

When police arrived, they arrested David Miller, 35, who was holding the homeowner’s prescription medicine at the time.

Miller is charged with residential burglary, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespassing, theft by receiving, and unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate a crime.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Benton Police Department at 778-1171 or 315-TIPS.

I love it. Asking for a tip when they have the perp. caught red handed. Shows a lot of faith in your police and prosecutors office to need more than that. Standing holding the dope and was charged. What a dumbass.

I guess I missed onionheads post before it was removed. Darn the luck! Only: I reckon some day He will! Good luck! As for the creep in this story; hope his next "job" has a homeowner with a clip full of hollow points waiting for him. Then the creep can "retire".

Jesus said all judgement belonged to him and his father so this MORON is putting himself/herself in the place of God. That is worse than anything else and God hates it. And he/she says they are glad someone is going to hell. Jesus said love your enemies, pray for those who despitefully mistreat you,and never does he say to gloat over the death of a sinner. Its a shame that the homeowner didnt put a bullet in his head and wipe that punk ass lil smirk off of his face. What a punk. Sorry ass dead beat piece of trash, stealing from and robbing rather than working. Let him out and maybe the next homeowner will take care of his sorry ass.
