Police: Pizza Man Arrested After Claiming to Be Robbed

Richard Muse, 21, charged with filing a false police report.
BENTONVILLE, AR (KNWA) - A pizza delivery driver faces charges after telling police two men pulled a gun on him and then made off with his money.

On August 9th, officers from the Bentonville Police Department (BPD) went to the Spot-Not Car Wash on North Walton Blvd. after an aggravated robbery was reported.

Richard Muse, 21, told officers he was boxed in by two cars and then approached by three men. He told police one of the men pointed a handgun at him and demanded his money, then they drove off.

Police say an investigation turned up a different story. The BPD determined that Muse had made it all up.

On Monday, Muse was arrested and charged with filing a false report.
