GEE!!! Were you out of power. The good old boy's had our grid up in around 10 hours. Great work boys down at the big E. We had people from several states. I think I heard or read around 4 thousand from other states. Seeing as only one other was thanked I thank the rest of you. Besides the only thing great about Mississippi is the signs saying you are now entering another state as your leaving it.

First Electric had us bck up in 46 hours. But once again the State was more concerned with revenue instead of the well bing of the citizens. Sad day when you can look out your back door and see the skyline lit up miles away and you are staying warm using a fireplace and cooking on the grill. That's fine though. I have two years of cold weather survival training and did 62 days above the arctic circle. The state was more concerned with revenue by getting power to restaraunts and other business areas instead of getting it to the houses. This way people took a chance on going to get food. The way the state looks at is, they get food, then when they wreck, they get money from the wrecker services, parts houses and body shops. If injured bad enough they get revenue from the doctors and hospitals too. All about revenue. When we start taking care of the people of the state it will be a better place. Took the Mayor of Little Rock4 days to o look at the damage. Has anyone seen or heard from the Governor? I have said it before and I will say it again. Put the lines underground and this wouldn't happen. You don't see water and sewer lines above ground do you? Sure it will cost, but how much has been spent over the past two years restoring power and bringing in outside contractor to put up wires?

Hey A big o THANKS to the MISSISSIPPI POWER for getting us back online. Job well done! I was telling my family I would be really surprised if we had power before Tuesday. This crew pulled off an amazing feat, there was a lot of missing wire thanks to the thieves stealing it. Next wire you grab, I hope it's hot. You're scum of the Earth.
