Prairie County Sheriff's Department looking for man who fled from meth lab bust

The Prairie County Sheriff's Department are looking for a man who fled from a meth lab bust on Tuesday. Damon Dale Capps, 26, is wanted for possession of drug paraphernailia with intent to manufacture.
On Tuesday, the Prairie County Sheriff's Department located and dismantled a hidden meth lab on Smith-Vester Road in southern Prairie County. They had received a tip about a possible meth lab at the home of Cody Vester.

When officers arrived they found several components used in the methamphetamine manufacturing process. They also found "meth trash" in the trash bin outside.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and a contracted clean up crew was notified. The clean up crew responded and disposed of all hazardous materials and contaminated items.

Three people were arrested and one subject is still at large for fleeing the scene. Cody Craig Vester, 31, Dillon S. Kinder, 27, and Jodie M. Luebke, 28, were all arrested at the house.

Authorities are still trying to find Damon D. Capps, 26, of Dewitt who fled the scene. Capps is 5'11" and 160 lbs with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is wanted for possession of drug paraphernaila with intent to manufacture.
