Members of the Little Rock SWAT team arrested a man overnight who ran from police then hid from authorities in his apartment.

It all started when officers tried to pull over Jason Jackson, 25, because he had temporary tags on a vehicle he was driving. This happened around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of 12th and Rodney Parhmam.

Officers say Jackson refused to stop. He instead sped to the Warren House Apartments and ran into a unit. His wife and children exited the apartment after officers demanded he exit.

After a few hours of negotiations, SWAT officers stormed into the apartment and arrested Jackson.

Little Rock police says he faces potential charges of fleeing, possession of narcotics, and possession by certain persons. Jackson was on parole for an unknown charge.
