Blaming a parent for a child's wrong is foolish? So what you're saying is a parent who raises the child should hold no responsibility as to how that child acts or behaves and that the child's behavior is based solely on the county they lived in ? Sam just because every person you associate with is a criminal and your son and family members are criminals doesn't mean the rest of us living here are criminals. And BTW a majority of my clients are former addicts or felons. Most of them are products of the environment they lived in as a child. They suffered from some sort of trauma during their childhood at the hands of the parent ie neglect, abandonment, parents that were addicts or abusive. By your posts your son probably became involved in criminal behavior because one or more of his parents suffered from mental illness and was incapable or raising him.

Their right Sam. He could of done the right thing and stayed at home but he didn't. Not many have been through what I have in the medical area. I decided to brake the law regardless of that. The police didn't put me in jail I did. Just like your son did. When I saw the lack of medical care in the system I wanted no more. People in prison with cancer can't even get an over the counter pain med. Who can really blame the system for that. Think of all the scam artist they deal with. I wouldn't want that job. Think is on the right track. Stop whining and do something. Are their any positive action groups in your area. Join one and express your concerns. You both have good points, Saline County Law Enforcement is known for their stupidity and poor judgement in performing day to day duties as well as Pi$$ poor leadership from the mayor down. Jail is also not the Hilton or UAMS and if you get sick in jail, it sucks to be you. You have to remember the IQ of a police officer is not quite like a good nurse, much less an MD.
