Ignorance is a lack of knowledge. Now I don't have a PhD; but I am well educated as opposed to most. Well read also; been a lifelong hobby of mine, ever since I first learned how to. And yes, you are being rude; by not being civil. These hogs you rode; where they on Daddy's farm, and did you ride them from "behind"? And although you appear to know about them; I've no idea what you are talking about concerning mopeds and large women. I'm unfamiliar, and have no experience with either. And again, I'm neither a legend in my mind, or anyone else's. Just an American that has been around a lot, due to growing up in the military, and being in the military. and you are being rude to others as well; telling fellow Arkansans that this is a hog smelling backwoods place. Your comments appear to make it look as though you are the one that is a legend in his own mind. And my fellow Arkansan,( me by choice, you by family ), we are now off topic; against the rules on this site.

butch; no need to be rude; it shows ignorance, which is unbecoming of you. And I have no idea what mopeds and large girls have in common; but I suppose you do; from experience perhaps? I've never owned, or ridden a moped. And large girls are not my style; I've always prefered average sized women. And what makes you think I'm a legend in my own mind? Yes, my IQ is above average, I'm well read, well educated, and well traveled; but that doesn't make me a legend. Others are just not that important to you? Now that's something you'll have to take up with your Maker when the time comes; not my problem, yours.

Butch54; we all live life on life's terms everyday. People get killed in cars, pick-ups, and even semi's. I ride a Harley; it should be loud enough; but with people listening to music so loud, phones in their ears, eating and drinking while driving; doing everything but paying attention; loud don't always get it done. The soccer mommy didn't see me because she was a poor driver. Like the t-shirt says that I saw on one biker - If you can't see me, then you don't need to be driving! My Harley is only 3 years old; when I have enough dough, I'll be putting louder pipes on it, you may be sure!

It's called living life on life's terms. You get on that thing you know the risk. Make it louder. Some might not see you. But most can hear you. That is the way we did it when I used to ride them old hogs.

wmgerman1; Yep. Once is too often, isn't it? But they say the same old thing - I didn't see him officer. And even though they kill someone, they rarely, if ever, do any time for it. Some call it an accident; I call it homicide. I see stuff like that all the time. I had a soccer mom try to get in my lane, the same space I was in at the time, on JFK. And I've had other close encounters also. Hate it when you are riding down the road and the idiot coming towards you starts to drift into your lane! However, I like it when they do that when I'm in the F-250! Let's play chicken now you moron! Know what I mean?

I was in a wreck because of someone turning LEFT in FRONT of me. That happens A LOT!

My most sincere sympathy to both victims famiies. Bikers beware! Alcohol is our biggest enemy. Cages, and the idiots driving them is third I think. Curves are close to the top. I'm not saying the man was drinking at all though. What I am saying is this - curves kill a lot of us; rider education people!
