This is the part where our elected state leaders step in and correct this injustice, so where are our leaders? Off playing golf or something? If this was happening me I'd be calling them until someone stepped and corrected this mess. Our state attorney general has failed again. So which one our supposed leaders is gonna stand up and do something?

It is very troubling to see the Banking industry take advantage of good honest citizens. They are bailed out of corrupt transactions by the taxpayers, then continue to do wrong. I know that Anita Howard has been a victim of predatory mortgage fraud. The state of Arkansas has many veterans who serve our country with honor, she is one of many. The attorney General needs to be involved immediately. Let us pray for the leadership and laws of our government.

Why is it so hard to prove she made the payments? Who's homes got the sideing? I bet the bank managers are in this. Thought it was just free money someone was depositing for them. (Yeah Right). Notice the stall tactic. They are trying to cover this up. Get a private investigator on this. I smell fraud.

She should get in touch with whoever guaranteed the loan as in FHA (HUD) or VA. I ran into problems dealing with a loan company when it changed hands. I gave up and went to HUD and they had my loan transferred to another lender didn't cost me anything all I had to do was sign the paperwork.Sometimes the lender doesn't listen or care but since the FHA or VA is the one that guarantees the loan they usually do care.

Hi, I wanted to draw your attention to this important petition that I recently signed: "Petition for the protection of Anita Howard's right to her home. " http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/petition-for-the-protection-of-anita-howards/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=system&utm_campaign=Send%2Bto%2BFriend I really think this is an important cause, and I'd like to encourage you to add your signature, too. It's free and takes just a few seconds of your time. Our voice needs to be heard. It's not too late for us to make a difference. This is a grave injustice for this family. Our state puts more faith in the banks and landlords than they do the tenets. There is no reason why her PROOF should not be considered in this matter. Thanks!

What can we do to help? Are there any churches or citizens who can offer assistance?

With so many sacrifices made by our service men and women and single parents how can there be no protection afford to our veterans and citizens to protect against white-collar thugs. The law will protect their illegal theft of this woman's livelihood but she must lay awake uncertain of her life. Shame!

When it comes to family well being involving the armed forces/veterans, situations like these make light of Veterans Day and the commitment they make for us. This needs to end.
