Beebe closes most state offices at Little Rock
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Gov. Mike Beebe says that with hazardous road conditions expected in Arkansas on Wednesday, only essential personnel should report for duty at state offices in the Little Rock area.
A statement from the governor's spokesman says agency directors and supervisors will decide who should report to work, and when they should arrive.
Otherwise, state office operations in the Little Rock metropolitan area will be closed Wednesday because of sleet and snow that has fallen through the evening in central Arkansas.
