LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Little Rock community came together to support a young girl diagnosed with Leukemia.

Dozens showed their support for 9-year-old Teecumpsy Wiggins at a Swab Party at Dunbar Gardens on Friday.

People used a Q-tip to swab their cheek, hoping to find a perfect match. Wiggins needs a bone marrow donor to help her survive the disease.

Her parents say they're beyond thankful for everyone's support.

"There's no way for us to do this without everybody's help. You know they say that it takes a village to raise a child and we believe it takes a village to save a child," said Toshua Wiggins, mother.

Wiggins wasn't at the Swab Party on Friday night. She's in the hospital undergoing chemotherapy.
