Alla kid has to do is say "he touched me" and there is an automatic assumption of guilt. I hate a child molester as much as anyone. But if it was you under the knife you would want a little more evidence before you went to jail for any amount of time

@ Protector20...very well said. I agree that this problem of teacher and student relationships is getting more commen. Its gross to me and it needs to stop. Yes thats wishful thinking. What so sad is we have such disrespectful kids, kids becoming parents themselves even at 12 or 13. These teens in highschool that are having relations with teachers need punishment as well.

It cuts both ways. I firmly believe teachers (male or female) who sexually abuse children in their care should never again be allowed to walk our streets. At the same time, accusations against teachers have often proven false by a person seeking revenge for whatever reason. Teachers can now be arrested simply on an accusation with no evidence whatsoever. And even if found not guilty, their lives are pretty much destroyed just on the basis of one person's testimony. It's important that juries weigh evidence, and if guilty, the punishment should be swift and severe. However, false accusers should receive an equally severe punishment. I don't know if this teacher is guilty or not. And I am not here as a defender of a person, just of the right to make sure there is evidence beyond reasonable doubt before other lives are destroyed.

Reading about teachers molesting children is becoming too common. It ain't going to stop either when you just gave one a 6 year sentence, of which she will probably only do 2. mm is right; nothing will be there!

What the H is going on in this country? Have we become another Sodom and Gomora from the bible? No wonder nothing is going right for the US, we are becoming a country with no respect for God and his commandments. This is why we are in financial trouble and have mental issues. Look forward to the end and a better home when it is God's will and time to end this life.

Are adults not attracted to adults anymore? These poor helpless children at the mercy of these monsters. Go straight to prison.
